Our Matt Wins The Devon Pros @Churston GC

Yesterday Churston held the Devon Pro competition. The course was amazing and the competition was strong. The day was won by our own Pro Matt “Bubba” Curnoe with a fantastic 68. What an achievement for Matt and a great reason to take Matt up on his Winter golf lessons deal. Well done Matt we are all so pleased for you. Churston just keeps on winning.

We Will Remember Them!

In the modern world it is easy to fall into a thought pattern of how hard we have it. Imagine a country at war, imagine you have no choice but to go to a foreign Country. Imagine you had to give your life for the freedom of others. Whatever it is your doing today remember that freedom was achieved by blood, sweat, anguish, tears and selfless bravery. At this time we should remember them. Churston GC does, we all should.

Our Lady Captain Raised 3.8K For Charity.

My very grateful thanks to everyone who has supported my fund raising events during my year as Lady Captain especially the balloon race, which was won by Dorothy Weight from Brixham, whose ticket was found in Guernsey!. I was delighted to present a cheque for £3805.81 to Brixham Does Care today (Chairman Martyn and his wife Josephine) which I know will make a huge difference to local people supported by Brixham Does Care.
